Default 6.0 build. rod length and pistons

i've been going through my options and it looks like i have to get an aftermarket rod to get any kind of piston choice, i have the better ls2 rods but most of the pistons are in .927 pin diameters. is there any reason to go to a 6.125 rod over the 6.100? im looking at wiseco's and it looks like their pistons can use either rod length but it has this in the catalog also

NOTES - Please Read:
- LS-1 block has 9.240 deck, 6.0 truck block has 9.230, LSX block is
approximately 9.255. Pick rod length accordingly
- 4.070 bores or smaller take all but LS7 valve sizes.
- All bores 4.100 take any valve size including LS7

since i have a truck 6.0 i should be staying with a 6.100 rod because of the shorter deck, correct?
