Looks as tho I have a lq4. I ripped the head off but didnt tottaly pay attention to it. Will have to doubble check tomorrow.
But i want to go with l92 heads just from reading about the power they make. If i did some ported 243s/317s i would be right at the same cost anyway. And these will be brand new in the box for cheper. I have a set of prc 243 heads on my camaro and paid 1100-1200 bucks for them. Is there a disadvantage going l92 for anyreason? Im only looking for tow power and of course its going to get its beat run once and a while.

i was just wondering is why i asked, if you have the intake already you'll save some dollars, what fuel rails you gonna use? i actually had some edelbrock fuel rails, so it made my swap easier. its really nothing to it, but when you purchase the heads make sure you purchase the rockers, cause of the off sets on 8 of them.if you think you can get away with less cost then cool go for it..also are you running a cable driven thorttle body or a electronic one? reason i ask cause you'll have to make a custom bracket for the cable driven

Well i got the motor for 750 with everything(starter wire harness ecm powersteering pump alternator manifolds) After selling that stuff i think i should get about 4-500 bucks outa everything i sell. So really i will have maybe 3-400 for a 58k short block.

I ordered the rockers and the holders today. Do I need to do anything with the valve covers? I swear i read that they need to be ground on the inside or something so the rocker clears cause the offset?

Also on the rail i have a 06 sierra its returnless. I belive the l92 rail is also? and can i use stock 6.0 injectors then?

Electronic. I ordered the doctor X harness

Ordered the 2600 stall tonight so that should be a little boost also.
