I ran 10.6 with a 370 and 225 shot in an extended cab. Don't know what truck you have but a 408 with a 200 shot has the capability to go low 10s easy.. And a helluva lot cheaper than going turbo.

Did you ever make a pass without sprayin with the setup you got?

Thats mine^
And yeah turbo is expensive, My cousin did 10.5_ @ ??? With turbo 5.3 stock bottom end
He said it was about a 7k when it was all done
And even tho its better to have an N/A setup or a nitrous set up,
I would like to run both.. And I mostly race in Mexico ( If you know what I mean ) So I want a top end setup, But well thats after I make up my mind on what to do lol
I love the turbo sound but In the research i've done 370ci is best for turbo.. But doing an estimate [IMO] thats around a 8-10k build.. and building a 408 or 415ci with a 200 shot i'll probably have the same hp/traxk times.. And I doubt i'll spend more thsn 6k? Or will I? lol

I really don't have an opinion on neither just that a 370 is better for boost than a 408[ or so i've read & heard ]
And I personally like both nos & boost.. But well like they previously said nos is cheaper than turbo..
But I still cant decide on what route to go

haha yeah well i was kinda asking both jw why dirttrackracer is running a 370 with n2o. I think his truck is called the white snail i have seen a couple vids of his truck running impressive especially for a ecsb.

My 370 with stock l92 heads with a Vic jr intake made 455 on motor and 670 on 7 cylinders, had an injector wire I had pulled out out of the butt connectors as we were checkin plugs.. That's with a used $275 nitrous kit..
I went with the 370 just because it was cheaper, I can make the power of a 408 on nitrous with a $10 set of jets vs $1000 crank shaft.

well from my experience i had a 376ci with a tvs2300 running 11psi it had the exact same power as my 416ci running 9#'s i had a smaller cam in the 416, theres no replacement for displacement which still applies even if people with 4.8's, 5.3's and stock 6.0's make lots of power with boost u can make even more with bigger cubic inches its all about how much u wanna spend but to long story short u can reach the goal of 800 or 900hp with a smaller engine like a 370 compared to a 416 which will require boosting it more.
