Default 6.0 lq4 lookin for a cam.

I've got a stock 6.0 lq4 milled the 317's 40 thousandths to get the compression up. It's got 4:10's and a 4l60 behind it. This is on a daily driver that I need torque under the curve and reasonable amount of fuel economy. Does someone have a cam that they have used that satisfies this for the most part and has a relatively stock idle. I've been looking toward a cam from comp cams and just looking for ideas.

PM clemsondave for the cam I just recommended to him and he had custom ground by Texas Speed. It was for his ~10:1 LQ4 370ci build in a 1500HD daily driver/hauling truck.

We'll call it the "SynergyV8 special gruntin torque cam." Ordered it through Texas Speed. Custom grind Comp Cams. $380. I'm also adding LS6 springs.

In a heavy truck, peak numbers don't mean a darn thing.

How is the idle on the TR 224, fuel mileage etc. Where did it improve over the stock cam.. I'm not comparing dyno charts I want some more low end punch and a bit more top rpm pull.0-5800 is where I want it the most. Not concerned with much over that.

dont go bigger than a 212/218 then, anything bigger and "I" think you will need a converter...
