Default 6.0 LQ4 rebuild

I am planning a rebuild for my 6.0 silverado engine (LQ4).
I want to use heads/cam from West Coast and possibly making it a stroker.
I still need it to be street legal and have good torque.
This will be my daily driver.
Exhaust/headers will also be in the mix.
What are my options?
Will an ls6 intake work and be worth it?
I am looking for simple easy to find parts, while still passing smog in California.
I would like to see around 50 HP over stock.
If I have to rebuild it might as well have some fun!

50 hp over stock, just get a cam and a tune with exhaust IMO.

a tune alone will give you 30hp more

a tune with full bolt-ons might get you 50 total hp.

agreed, a cam and tune can get you to what your looking for pretty easily. Now if you want 150-200hp over stock then go ahead and build a stroker, but you really need to decide exactly what you want out of it before you even start the project.

What kind of HP can I expect with a freshened 6.0 block, West Coast Heads, and an LS6 intake?
Will an LS6 intake be worth the cash?
Are there any FI mods that will give me results worth the money?
I am talking other than exhaust and cold air intake.
AND REMEMBER I STILL HAVE TO PASS SMOG IN CALIFORNIA!
THANX guys!

I think you could probably get 330-350 at the wheels with a set of heads to up your compression a bit and a small cam like the TR220 or "old man cam"
