that's the route i plan on taking with my lq4. i just need to figure out the biggest cam i can put in there to keep the piston to valve clearance happy.
this is going in a sn-95, not my truck.

What would a LS2 with 62 chamber Dart heads be? On a 67 chamber it was going to be 10.7 and 62 would be close to 11.3. Would that be a ok to tow with? I was afraid that it would be too much, the cam is a 220/226 .605 .600 on a 112 LSA. Otherwise I would just throw the Dart heads on it and get some different ones for my Camaro since they are the best heads for high boost.

I got my block from an L92 project that got side-lined and it already had fly cuts
.0065 deep. I'm not going with a huge cam but, with the springs I'm running I oughta be able to switch to an MS4 or a Chuck Norris cam with no issues.

Did you ever tow with it? I was told that with my motor build that a CR of 11.3 would be too high and the DCR would be 9.0 and that would cause detonation when towing in the summer heat. I don't want to have an issue so is there anything I can do? This is along the lines of the OP, 6.0 with flat tops and 62 cc chambers.

You should be fine depending on cam choice. The Trailblazer SS has 10.9:1 and people tow with them. Tuning is going to be what makes yours work.

I don't know how to tune one, nor am I confindent enough with anyone locals tuning abilities. Would it be possible for me to have it dyno tuned somewhere and it be good enough to run year round. Were you refering to me being ok with 10.9 or 11.3? I ran some more numbers last night and I need a 2 cc dish, a .060 gasket with the piston above the deck .008. Would cutting a 2 cc valve relief be the same as a 2 cc dish in the piston? The cam is a 220/226 on a 112 LSA. Any more info you need let me know, the numbers I plugged in had my CR at 10.9 almost
