No, he is right, a 6.0 crank will not increase the displacement of a 5.3. Re-read the question

So you are thinking you want to get really jiggy with it? There was/is an 06' Trailblazer SS with a custom rear mount turbo setup, using a T76 I believe that put down like 697rwtq on a stock LS2, stock transmission (which eventually went BOOM). Engine held it just fine. Oh, and that was on pump gas with Meth injection. He has since pulled the kit off and sold it. Another TBSS with the STS kit, T67 turbo is putting down high 600's rwhp the best he can tell on around 12 psi, meth, and race fuel. His tune must ROCK. AWD dyno doesn't want to cooperate with him, but that is also stock engine, stock transmission. The LS2 6.0L is proving to be one badass engine. Me, I'm shooting for 500+ with my STS on about 7.5psi, pump gas only. No replacement for displacement.....

Revolutionary...any bites on the ITS 60-1?
my 4.3L is much weaker then a sy/ty 4.3L- the main webbing is much thinner in mine- kinda hard 2 4-bolt main it

Yea, I was saying you may want to just do a complete long block. Check this out for a teaser

Strasp the 6-banger in there and have fun!!!!

Your actually quite wrong on the strength of the 02 block.. both of my boosted 4.3's have 02 blocks and 02 heads. They are probobly some of the best desgined and strongest that GM made production. My machinist had no problems converting them to 4 bolt mains.

The sy ty blocks simply had wider webbing not stronger. The 02 blocks also have a higher nickel content.

Crankshaft itself can't take it even the steel cranks start getting stressed around the kind of cylnder pressure needed to create that kind of power.
even overbore.. you are at 268 cubic inches to create wheel horsepower you need roughly 725-750 at the flywheel going conservative thats 2.7 hp per cubic inch. the crank even a good crank doesn't like that kind of stress...

I don't even care about the power numbers anymore if my truck funs a mid 11 at its full weight I don't really care.. reason being.. if I want to go really fast ill just build a car. thats just personal
