Default 8.1l injector question

Was wondering if going with bigger injectors on my 8.1 would help gain some power? motor has just basic bolt on stuff exhaust, air intake, and a blackbear tune.

No the stock ones are fine.. Bigger injectors are needed when the stockers can't supply the fuel that the motor needs, due to blower, turbo's & nitrous. Your injectors will allow you plenty of room to grow, as far as hp goes..

I don't think a ZZ502 motor cam will woke in the 496's.. They are totally diff engines, blocks.. http://www.raylarengine.com/ has some good things for the 8.1's

I am pretty sure a ZZ502 cam will work, you'll just need to swap some low tension coil wires and some injector wires.

The 8.1 is just a tall deck block.

496 = 4.250" x 4.37" (2001 Vortec 8100, 8.1 liter)
502 = 4.466" x 4.00"
