I know it sounds alot better standing right next to it (which is what your trying to compare it to) There is no way a video recorder, with it's tiny little mic, is gonna do justice to a motor!
I can't wait to install my cam... it's only a 115 so won't have the "lope" your (112+2) does

I don't know why anyone would try to mod a TAHOE for speed or power. You guys are nuts.
Anyway, my 210/218 .551 .551 112lsa worked great in the 5.3 Vinci makes the Ultra Tq or the Trucker. Either would work well for the hoe. The VHP 062 is the one I had.

Well, I like the sound of Moddoo's cam, but I am wanting a higher-lift cam to flow more in and out. Since a 206 duration isn't made with high lift lobes, I was considering going with the next best thing...
208/212 .554/.558 112lsa
or
208/214 .554/.559 112lsa
That, upgraded springs and push rods, tuning with HP tuners, longtube headers, and my straight-through exhaust.
Should give me some low-end grunt. I may go ahead and get the TB stall anyways. Right now, I'ma still be running stock.

.590" not enough lift for you?
What heads are you running?
I'm guessing you missed my list of XFI lobes.
sorry if it's tough to read, I copied it from another post.
I'm not saying that you need a 206 lobe, but you can build a mean short duration cam from the XFI lobes.
Di you call WCCH yet? they have some good experience with the trucks, and know what works with your heads.
