Default Another cam ?....6.0 LQ4

I thought I would post here and see what kinda responses I will get compared to LS1 tech....

The Setup:

I have a 2004 6.0 LQ4, which I will be swapping into my 1995 Mustang.
Full weight car (3300?lbs), suspension setup for street/handling, and will have a 5 speed manual and 3.27 rear end gears....

Requirements:
Im looking for a cam that has great streetability, reliability, longevity on the valvetrain, ability to pass a smog test (of course proper tuning applies here as well) and I dont see the need to spin this motor above 6200-6500 rpm on a street driven DD type car. I dont want a peaky cam, but also want to make +/- 400 rwhp and similar rwtq, with "power under the curve", should the need arise, and be able to go 150+ MPH on a bonsai run on some open stretch of highway....

And since Im on a budget, this cam needs to work with the LS6 yellow valve springs (I have these already)...

HELP!?!
Ive been looking at some smaller cams, and did some reading on here about how the 6.0L engines can "eat up" some duration (whatever the hell exactly that means, Im no cam expert)...

All I want to know is, which of the vastly available cams would best suit this application (stock long block LQ4 6.0L, natutally aspirtated, 9.4:1 compression, LS6 intake manifold and full exhaust) and meet my requirements?

Also a cam that can be installed straight up, would be the most ideal! Since Im doing this myself!

I have a small list of certain cams that I have my thoughts on....in no particular order.... I would appreciate the response/feedback/suggestions!

1.) Scoggin Dickey Z+220
220/224 .551/.551 114LSA ...Their description on this cam has my interest..

2.) Scoggin Dickey SDPC L92 / LS7 Custom Camshaft
228/236 .566/.551 115LSA ..The description on this cam sounds pretty nice as well!

3.) COMP CAMS XR265HR XFI Hi-Lift...5442411
212/218 .558/.563 115LSA/115ICL

4.) Lunati VooDoo
222/228 .567/.567 113LSA/109ICL

5.) LINGENFELTER GT2-3
207/220 .571/.578 118.5LSA

I personally would go with custom spec'd but a cam similar to #2 with a lower LSA..115 brings the rpm range higher than you're looking for.

Why do you care about revving higher than 6200?

You can get away with a lot bigger cam than any you mentioned since you're manual in a light car.

Well since its more of a street oriented setup, I didnt see the need to buzz the motor any higher than that...but Im sure my lead foot will have the motor singing above that on occassion anyways....LOL

I figure the 115LSA wont be very choppy compared to a 110 or 112....trying to keep things a little sedate as well...guess I should have mentioned that in the first post....

TR224 cam. It's the most popular cam ever made for the LS1. It's the one I'm eventually going with.

#1 is the cam that I plan to put in my LQ9 for my truck if I ever have funds again, but for a light car you could definitely go bigger. I too already have LS6 springs in a set of WCCH StageII heads, and plan a 3k stall. The TR224 is a proven performer but I'm not sure if the LS6 springs will have enough seat pressure for that cam, you might want to contact Thunder Racing on that one.
