Anoter cam has been brought to my attention...this should work decent?
Comp Cams, XR275HR, 222/224 .566/.568 112 LSA , advertised duration 275/277 <--doesnt seem so agressive for a street cam compared to the others, which can be a good thing for the valvetrain....

I have / had the asa cam in my old LS1 setup. The car was mostly used in autocross, but I could have driven it every day. Honestly, I'd think it would meet your criteria, although a lot of folks will try and talk you out of it.
I'm swapping an L92 into my car now, so I'll see what the ASA cam does in a 6.2L.
You really need a good tune and a free flowing exhaust to get the most out of it. The car will probably not be very streetable on hot days without a good tune.

I know the guys over in ls1 tech are all about the biggest numbers cam or dont talk to them at all...
Im leaning towards either the ASA or the HotCam...but it seems the ASA just might be the needle in the haystack??
Do you have any videos or sound clips of your car in action with this cam?

Mine is on the quiet side because it was running through a SLP dual / dual. However, it did have a real nice lope at idle.

The second cam that you listed I think has too much duration split. From what I have read it the LS7 block has amazing intake runners and poor exhaust ports and the extra duration is needed to keep the valve open longer to help mask the poor exhaust ports. I might be wrong but when I asked someone why the duration was so much more on LS7 type cams than normal that was the answer I got.
