Yeah I have those GMPP catalogues dating back quite a few years. I love putting together combos from those pages.

I know this is an old thread, but just saw it. How can the computer on the 97s etc be modified to feed a 383? I had heard that as well as the actual injectors on these are limiting factor over the intake.

Also anyone cracked the tranny computer sp we can tweak shift points, firmness etc like the LS-1 Edit and Predators do for newer computers? Seems like that would be similar programming codes. The Hypertech I got years ago is about worthless except for tire diameter changes.

Give PCMforLess a call...last I checked, their website stated that they do tuning on both OBDI and OBDII vehicles. I believe that they've done a few 96 Imapala SS's that have made some nice numbers.

Yea, I found some AFR vortec heads for cheap. If I was going to spend the money to get a different injection style, then I would do new heads too.
I'll keep my eye open for another manifold like the last one. I want to make some serious power! Do you think a manifold like that would be a pain in the *** with the AC and everything else set up the way it is on the L31?

Where can I find the guy that does the Marine intake kit? I may think about adding that to my 350 block that is in production.

Check the Sponser sales for MIzfit Motorsports. I just bought a 2001 Corvette Crate motor from Taylor for $3750.00. This is a new motor with 12 month ,12,000 warranty and is so complete it even came with a water pump.
