about 2 feet long and 3 inches in diameter....

there are tons of threads on this man, I know you are new, but there are at least 10 threads a week asking about cams.
What are your goals with the truck? Stock torque converter?

I'm currently looking at this for my 4.8, i'm not an expert though, so i could be WAY off.

The tr220 is very popular with a stall around that size. It may be a bit large for a 4.8, but I think it would be fine. The comp 212/218 posted above is also very popular, although you could probably go bigger with the 3200 stall.

Oh and take off the tb spacer and hypertech, sell both, and get a tune from one of the vendors on the right.

is the one i posted still good with stock converter? I've heard for that one all you have to change is the springs.

I have hptuners so I do my own, but I always hear good things about blackbear and wheatley. Nelson is good from what I hear, but is a bit more expensive so not as many go with him.

LS6 springs would be fine with the 212/218 since it is relatively low lift, and it should work fine with the stock converter, although a bigger one (2600-3000) wouldnt hurt.
