Any tried and true methods for beefing up the 4.3?
Hey guys gonna start ripping apart my ol 96 chevy 4.3 and do a heavy duty beef up on the inside. Hoping to maybe add 2 turbos down the road and I want the inside to be good and tight. Please do not post anything about how V6s are trash because I with my own eyes have seen a V6 run a 9.50 and thats not the quickest I've heard of. Thanks!

...or an LQ9
My 96 Blazer has the 4.3, and after my first day of driving it I decided that it would be the perfect home for my truck's 5.3 after I do my LQ9 swap. (not that it will ever happen but it's fun to dream and ya never know )
The Blazer came to me with a K&N FIPK already on it...I laughed when I saw it and said "why?"

Well I happen to have a light vehicle. Look I have the motor and I have the truck to put it in. I'd like to work with what I have. Any help y'all have would be appreciated otherwise we can settle differences of v6 v.s. V8 on the track.

All the go fast cars that I've seen with only six cylinders are actually h6's and not v6's. Trust me dude. You'd be better off asking Parrish about this kind of thing, because I think he was working on a 4.3 turbo job recently... We're all gonna tell you to get a v8
and FYI, your truck is nowhere close to being a light vehicle.
No disrespect meant, just trying to give you a straight answer.
