Benefits of rocker swap?
What would be the benefits of a racker arm swap? I have 1.7 and want to go to 1.8. Now when you I calculated that to my setup it pushed the lift to .556from .525, my springs are good to .600 lift. The heads are 243's that have no milling to them at all. And I'm running a stock bottom end. What other mods should be done to support the swap? Are my pushrods gonna be fine? Thanks for the input.

I don't have any first hand expierence with larger rockers but i do believe that in some applications you have to machine the pushrod guide holes because you are pulling the pushrods closer to the fulcrum of the rocker and they may drag. But other than that sounds like a more expensive allternative to swappin in another cam, although it is deffinitly less labor intensive... my .02

depends on overall setup, i ran stock rockers for a very long time at 7k+ rpms, the ls3 rockers have taken a beating, for ease of mind its not the lift im looking for since im staying at a 1.7 rocker but in the sense its a full roller rocker and can handle the power im looking for! basically an insurance thing.
