more air in=more power
the intake swap opens the TB alot, try sticking your hand in a stock intake, then see how much of your ARM fits down the FAST...

That cam you have with those heads is fine. More cam with a stock truck intake isn't going to gain you much.
This, imo. I know, I know, a big cam is just cool.

I'd love to say that I'm not influenced by the rumble at idle and that I'm perfectly immune to the draw of a funny car cam on the street, but I'm not. At the end of the day, however, Zip's giving you good advice here.

The cam you have is close enough to 230s not to matter.

thanks for all the help. i talked to ryan at RPM today and he said that the truck intake will be just fine. and i would not see a big gane out of it. the TBSS went in the 9s with a truck intake and if i ever go that far with it ill let you know.

by the way i just got back from RPM and the truck made 393hp 392tq. and 586hp 702TQ on the gas, going to get a little more soon!
