Break in oil????

Default Break in oil????

What do ya recommend as for the break in period. How long before i change the oil?

What oils do ya recommend.

a direct quote from HKE.
Joe Gibbs BR30 change it after 100 miles and then again at 500. As far as break in method, get on it WOT as soon as you can ( as long as there's a safe tune on it ) to help seat the rings. That's about it

i got it from HKE for 7$ per qt. not horrible.

I did the same procedure that HKE recommended. Mine turned out fine. My buddy on the other hand used Mobil 1 from the day it started and his burns alot of oil. I would definitely do the Joe Gibbs BR oil. I've heard from several people that it is superior to all other break in oils.

I used VR1 and additive also but will be using the JG oil on anything from here on out, supposed to be really good stuff.
