When you say budget, are you asking which rotating assembly you would prefer to rebuild after it breaks?
But really...everyone has their opinion on brands...I like the callies/weisco combo, but someone else im sure likes k1/diamond or eagle/scat. Personally, I put more sauce in the shop building it than what parts they use.

6.0 let go at 150k in my 2000 2500 that I use as a DD and work truck. I was always underwhelmed with the power it produced, even after long tubes and a tune. Looking to build a high torque 408 to replace it for towing purposes. It will never see 6k. Think Ill just bite the bullet and order a balanced assembly from TSP

If I was doing my build over I would call tsp. I haven't had any problems, just seems a much simpler/ cheaper way to go and they have great tech support and stand by there work
