that sounds like enough compression to me and that will save me a little bit of money from having to buy 243's, so and eagle crankshaft will be fine to use?

Dont forget to order your main studs etc.
I would also look into purchasing coated bearings. Calico is a great name!
Do you need them? No, but hey its worth the extra cash.
Heres a little article on what coating does and how it can benefit you.

stay away from eagle if your going to spend the money on a built motor they are on the bottom end of the spectrum. if you want this motor to be reliable i would use either a callies or cola forged crank manly forged rods and either manly or diamond forged pistons. spend a few extra bucks for the rotating assembly you wont be sorry. i have a 6.9 iron block in my truck with a callies 4" crank and manly rods and pistons along with a set of ported polished ls7 heads that were shifted for a 4" bore. the trick flow 225cc heads make the most power and torque numbers of any head on the market rite off the shelf but for a little less money ported ls6 heads are a close second.

that is EASILY the worst information ever posted on any internet forum EVER. Eagle has powered some of the quickest/fastest LSX cars to EVER be assembled. Fereday was the first LSX in the 7s and was running a 3 year old Eagle internal'd motor. Eagle is good ****, its more about choosing a builder that's worth a **** and can build what you need.
eagle has its place and its budget forged.
