building my LM7
so im kindve new to this forum, but hello folks.
i am building an LM7 to eventually be placed in my 97 s-10
now, i have ls2 lifter tray, ls7 lifters, ported 5.3 heads, patriot performance cam.
H3 Alpha oil pan and pickup tray and stuffs.
the question i have is, i just ordered an ls2 timing chain and sprockets from my local dealership. i know the chain will work on my 5.3 sprockets but im not halfassing this motor and would like to know if the sprockets will work.
the parts are off of a 2005 Vette
12586482 - chain
12556582 - crank sprocket
12576407 - cam sprocket

the reason i was worried is because the ls2 has the cam sensor up on the cover right? i guess it doesnt matter because im not using it anyway
