They have arrived,mocked up with the mounts on the engine. That looks weird... they are greatly staggered. The drivers side is offset back compared to the passenger. I hope this is how they fit on the crossmember.

The motor mount adapter plates arrived.



On the block.



On the motormount.



Get it?

I also found out how to lower the rear of my truck!



it just means I need to continuously drive with an engine in the bed...



a friend gave me these ignition wire/header boots.



..getting there. Slowly.

Yes and No. I didn't have an LSx drop in my lap like the SBC did

I don't know much about SBC's to tell you the truth. I do know they make better low end torque than the LS engines though, which I like.

Looks great man, I have never seen anything like this done before. I'm excited to see how it turns out You will definitely have a VERY unique truck when it's all finished.
