Cam frustrations!!
I need some help with choosing a cam for my setup! i was looking at a 212/218-115lsa, but i was hoping to get something a little bit more aggressive than that, i have read a tons of threads about this but i just havent found one for my exact setup. i have a 05 1500 ecsb 5.3 lifted on 37xr22's with 4.88 gears, i have lt's, CAI, corvette servo, 3k stall. its my DD but i want some good push to help roll my big heavy truck! thanks!!

I had a TSP224R in mine, you don't want that big if you're lookin for low end. I took it out and went with a 210/220 cam. Much happier with the smaller cam.

As mentioned, an ec on 37's is going to want as much low end as possible...I'd go with a shelf grind 212/218 low lift and keep the 114, which will allow for a longer, flatter torque curve than the mentioned 111/112 recommendations. Just my .02. (If you look at the "truck cams" that are available from various manufacturers , you'll notice that many of them are ground on a 115)

Something else, don't be surprised if you change your mind a few times, that's normal
