with stock heads and intake, with this comp cam (224/230 .581/.588 112lsa) longtubes, 3000 yank converter in a 60E 4.10 gears, and a nelson mail order tune i went from 259 rwhp stock, to 341rwhp a gain of 82 horses, this cam is great for a 5.3 and its in my daily driver, my setup is different now but thats what i originally had and i know a few guys that ran the same cam and was very happy with it. Good luck with your selection. Oh and i was running a crappy flowmaster 40 series at the time of those numbers, i use hptuners now so if you need some help with the tune for it lemme know ill get it out to you unless you just order a tune.

Hey lamborado that would be great i would love a copy of that tune sounds like were pretty close except for the 3000 stall. I currently have flowmaster 40's but I am looking for something that flowes better and maybe has a better sound what do you reccomend?
Also any one else reading whats your opinion on exhaust?

I'd get the 3600 Yank Pro Truck, don't skimp on converter, they cost more cause they are better!

3600 sounds like it may be a little too much this is mostly a daily driver. And is there really that much difference in the expensive torque converters and the less expensive ones besides the name on it?

I drive mine alot and the 3600 is no porblem at all. If you don't get at least a 3200 you'll wish you had. And YES the higher dollar stalls are better search TCI on the board if you wanna see how many people of regreted going cheap.
