which cam? lm7 w/ TB stall
vehicle- 01 4x4 lm7, 4l60e, trailblazer converter(2600-2800), 4.56's, 33" tires, daily driven, all the bolt ons blah blah.
my question is which cam would do good with this setup and make power from off idle or 1500 to 6000 rpm and has a nice sound also? and other parts that would be needed like hardened push rods, springs, rockers and all else that is involved?
thanks, alex

Yep. Just have to be careful who gives you the specs to have ground. The 212 218 doesn't loose any off idle power but gains everywhere else and makes good power to 6000 rpm so it sounds like it should work for what you want. It doesn't lope excessively but it's noticeable on a 114 LSA. You could always have it ground on a 112 or 110 if you want more sound.
People generally make 290-320 rwhp with this cam, closer to 290 without headers and closer to 320 with. With your tires and gears it might not. The most I've seen it make was 330rwhp on an 05 crew cab with pacesetter long tubes and 3.42 gears IIRC, on a dyno jet.

The Vinci "trucker cam" is a good cam--216-224 551-551 on a 115 lsa. This cam makes power throughout the entire rpm range, has a very noticeable lope, and is designed for FI if you ever want to go that route. I run this cam NA for now and use ls6 springs, hardened pushrods, and stock rockers. Sharpshooter runs this cam with a procharger setup and another guy runs this with a magnacharger setup and everyone seems to like it.

im thinking of the 212/218 comp XR265 on a 112 lsa for my truck. Should gain alittle low end instead of not loosing any but not gaining any either. Plus still run strong up to 6k rpm's.

I'm not saying everyone will make 330 rwhp with this cam and long tubes, but it isn't uncommon. A guy on here recently made 310 with it I'll get the link. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ighlight=xr265
He also began the pulls @ low rpm
