Trust me when I say you're going to be happier with a lower duration, high lift cam. You could have a custom ground cam for around the same price as an off the shelf cam...

Look into a 214/220 .600/.581 on 112LSA+0. That's as big as I would go. Also, if you want the power to peak lower in the RPM band, you can have them grind a couple degrees advance in it.

Yeah man it runs real good. My buddy has a 03 ecsb silvy with exhaust and from a dig i easily put 6 cars on him. From a 20-30 punch i put about 3 to 4. Truck pulls hard all the way to 125mph (speed limiter) on the high way.

Your truck flat out moves the way it is, it really surprised me... I bet with a 220 cam it would be bad ***!!!

I vote 220/220 .581/.581 comp xer on a 112+4 . 114 is too mild imo

I had a 205/212, .540/.540, 114+4 in my Avalanche with the stock TC and it was perfect. May have had something to do with the fact I got a custom cam.

Yeah Corey you've rode in it before and i think a few of you have seen it on the Dyno. The motor is a freak. Guess its the better heads that these new trucks come with. I will say i took on a friends new full bolt on civic si, without the blackbear tune he got me by two cars cause he was spraying a 75 shot. He wasn't happy a full size suv was keepin up that well Haha.. Now For a cam i was always thinkin the motor would like a 220 grind, but on a 112 lsa? Wouldn't that be a little much since it does weigh 5400 pounds lol
