Cam question
ive got a question.. do you think I could make a decent gain in power by simply grinding a new cam based on the exact same specs of my current cam, with a tighter LSA and/or zero or less advance ground into the cam
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z...-vs-116-a.html
those two are same spec cams on LS7's, and while 110 vs 116 LSA is a big difference, it does seem to gain power througout the RPM range and not sacrifice top-end for any low end.
while i dont have a dyno sheet to figure out where my car is making peak power at with the current cam, and also its worth mentioning the car idles extremely smooth for my taste, and low-rpm cruise is also smooth as stock
do yu thinking shifting to a 112 or even tighter lsa help me generate more power in my powerband will i have any piston to valve clearance cause im at 0.40 at the moment haha
