And about the 3 busted pistons, I was fully aware of what could happen. Why do you think I was running a tune with 30* timing and 12.5lbs boost and 9.5:1 static comp. I was pushing it to the limit because I didn't care if it went. And it did. I hated that little POS 4.8 from the day I bought it. I just thought i'd have some fun with it.

He posted the specs in a public forum asking for thoughts after he allready purchased the cam.
I think he's got the potential there for a very stout setup, I also think that the dynamic compression should be lower. Because he will be able to run more timing and possibly make more power on 93 and have more fun with an everyday drive, plus its easier to tune.

The CR could be lower but that would be no fun and I enjoy doing things differently than everyone else even though it causes more problems but everyone and their brother does a 10:1 CR 408 with a mid 230s cam I want something different so I built the 418 that I did. Not worried about ease of tuning Allen Nelson will be doing it he tunes 408s with basically the same cam at NIckens racing in Houston all the time. We will just have to see how it runs.
