Cam and tune togeather?
Hey, So my truck is in my shop right now and I am finally doing my cam swap. First day I got it all they way down to a bare block. Second day I went in and the compressor shorted out so now today I am doing nothing. I was going to port my heads myself and was planning on spending about 5 hours doing it but with no compressor I am SOL. Sucks how things work out since the first day I was ahead of schedule and now I am behind.
I ordered my tune last week from BB over my buddy's autocal but it still hasn't arrived. Justin is probably really busy so I am kind of nervous that it wont get here in time and this is my DD.
My question is can I run my truck without a tune or will I mess something up? The cam I am putting in is the CC 212/218 high lift. Thanks a lot guys!

Alright thats what I needed to know. Thanks
EDIT:
Just got my truck buttoned up today and went out and test drove it and you hit it on the head. First stop sign died then got stuck in traffic and it died. I am idling about 400 rpms. Thanks for your help BLACKCASH. I really appreciate it. I would of just left my truck in the shop and not fired it up until it got tuned.
