Sure, I don't see why not. Everyone said my NV3500 would poop behind my 6L. Don't get me wrong, the 6L goes ok, but on the same tolken it's not a torque monster by any means where it's going to destroy a trans. If it did, it's not because of the power, I would think it would be the fact the transmission was on its way south anyways.

not to try to scare you or anything but after my motor swap everybody told me i better start saving for a trans......lq9 228/232 112 lsa cam 3200 stall few more bolt ons nelson tune..... stock 4l60 lastest maybe three months truck only had 65,000 miles on it at the time but not gonna say i was just easy on it after the swap either....... when takin the trans out drained the fuild and it was burnt so bad it looked like motor oil so mine didnt hold up.....went with a performa built stage three 4l60 very impressed with the trans but about a month after the trans swap and a few good black marks later and im in the prosses of takin the eaton diff out along with sevral broken peices with it ha and repalcing with detroit
