I don't know much about deciphering cams and their parameters, but stock pushrods are 7.4". LS7 Lifters are slightly higher than stock lifters so that will adjust your pushrod length. Additionally, depending on the cam, your pushrod length might need to be adjusted too (I'm not sure if it will or will not need to be). Also, I don't know if you have had your heads milled at all, but that as well would affect the pushrod length.
Another thing that you might want to research is whether or not your cam is boost compatible since you may be adding a turbo eventually. Hope that helps. What were you going to get gaskets for?

comp cam set me up on the cam and push rods and such, and the guy who own kk performance said everything looked good to him, but i never said anything about a turbo..

You dont have to replace gaskets except the head gaskets, but like you said since it is tore apart go ahead.
What I replaced. head gaskets < you could spend the extra money and get cosmetic gaskets .04 to bump compression up. You will lose some compression with non milled 243s. Timing cover gaskets, front crank seal, intake manifold gaskets, water pump gaskets, and header gaskets. I found it cheaper to buy the gaskets individually rather than a kit.
You wont be able to swap the chain with out droping the oil pan and pulling the oil pump off. My truck had 150K when I did my swap the chain wasn't to bad. I put my ls2 cam sprocket on and it removed some slack.
Please please please get a comp-cam push rod checker. I didn't and have been battling lifter tapping. I just got it figured out the other day.
That's a good cam choice for N/A motor with your gears and stall
