I see what your saying, but IMO idle issues are a 2 part problem... 1 being the overlap and the other is the diameter of the TC... 9.5 being alot harder to tune than stock TC, due to it lighter weight and less rotational mass... the lighter weight amplifies the idle issues. Him being a stick, and i assume he is using the stock flywheel, i think he could go more agressive with the overlap and not have the issues... Now if he was switching to a light weight flywheel, this would be a different story...
