No sure really. I collect the pictures and then forget the stories.

I think the first is a 5.0L ford block. Think it was in the mustang you can see in the pic. I have several of that one. Block split. Crank broke.

The last one I do know. Its the engine out of a Ford Probe. Story and video on a web site. There was a in cab video of it going. Major boost, 6000ish rpm when it let go through the traps. Sounded horrible, major smoke coming in the cab. The driver cussing

Defintely Nitro carnage! I was there on saturday and witnessed a great show. There was a good size crowd and the wether was perfect. There was also some carnage on track. Dan Horan and Mike Chrisman tangled. Here's some shots of that carnage: March Meet 2009 Horan/Chrisman wreck
