Went from a 326ci to a 382ci motor is that right? Different heads, compression, rotating assembly, cam, possibly intake and don't know about the exhaust. Decent numbers I guess but not really breath-taking for a complete engine rebuild. Stock 5.3L puts down 295hp + 80hp so your looking at 375hp. Decent numbers.

Hey Guys, I just wanted to give you all a heads up. Those of you looking for moderate horsepower and torque gains, we now have full rotating assemblies for truck applications. These kits fit the 5.3/6.2 and L92/LS3 Chevrolet! During testing this engine kit yielded a 79.75 horsepower and 73.74 torque gain! Let me know what you all think! Have a great weekend! -Adam @ Callies

ForcedTQ, what's the difference betw. 243 & 799 heads? What motor size do they come stock? 4.8/5.3 or 6L?

Like the others above have said, they're the same casting (essentially, intake ports, exhaust ports, combustion chamber shape and size), just used on different engines from the factory. In some (02-06 Zo6 Corvette) instances, the exhaust valves in these heads were the Sodium Filled variety.

I will try and clarify quickly, It is has been Dubbed LSc, because we are targeting those who desire a little more torque, and a little more power. (basically guys with boats and campers, not racers) The Crankshaft is 5140 as apposed to 4340, and we recommend keeping this kit below 650 hp. If you are looking for more gains....you obviously know we have other products that will make that happen!. I posted figures, because I wanted you all to see the effectiveness of the kits, if you would like to see the dyno results, private message me and I can email or fax it to you.
