if its an engine you have spent some money on, i would run dual springs

I know someone that had less then 10k (way less just being conservative as I don't know the actual mileage) and the springs were already weak enough to missfire at idle with a .58x lift cam. I prefer duals.

I think I'd shy away from the comp springs too... comp has some quality control issues across the board. I think going forward I'm going to try to avoid stuff they make.

spend 50-100 more for a known good working dual spring. Not trying to tell you that you're dumb . . . but spend the extra now for springs vs new pistons and valves or a whole head when a spring fails and wipes out your beloved new engine build.

PAC is about the only single spring that I would recommend using.

Looks like the comps are out. My 4.8 currently has PAC beehive springs in it and 30k later no problems and im not nice to it either. I cant afford these forged pistons to slap a valve due to a spring crappin out so im going to start looking for some dual valve springs.

X2 this... as a matter the BTR Platinums and Titatinums are sold out on back order on BTR website. luckily I got my box earlier this week.

Lunati dual valve springs 0.660 lift are around $240ish on ebay all day, with new seals, retainers, locks, etc/ everything that a spring needs.
