I would probably do the 6.0 route and do all the supporting mods correctly, like new built trans and a good converter to match.

As for a good combo, look at peoples vehicles and see what they run or look in the dyno sections on LS sites and if you see a combo that works well try to attempt and copy the setup.. A lot of guys do that.

The proflow is an awesome intake. Other options are the NNBS intake, and the LSXrt 102mm intake is a proven performer. Although Fast has had some fitmit issues lately. The Built 80e is a great route. For the heads it depend on if you want to go FI or not. Want to keep the compression around 9.5:1. If not look for a set of 243 heads and have them milled down a bit.

Also, Different types of FI like different types of converters

The 317s are a great head for FI. If your set on the 3000RPM converter would work well with the Procharger. Maybe the radix. But you would be better off with a 2600-2800 converter.

Yes, But Blackbear can send you the flashed PCM. Just gotta send your old one back to him. So there is no down time.
The stock tb is a 78mm 3 bolt and the Pro Flow uses a 90mm 4 bolt TB I believe.
Edit: Looks like the Pro Flow has mounting holes for both types of TB.
