Also if you port your heads do you raise or lower compression? Does anyone know of a general hp/tq figure for porting heads? Does the cfm flow rate relate to power gains?

Your compression ratio will not change at all unless you mill the heads down.

lol hes kidding, dont worry about it (psst, hes just picking on you bc you have 35 posts) jk

but anyway, porting and polishing your stock heads is a great mod,it does everything thats been said and it really accerlates the output you will get from an aftermarket cam as well.
