Critic my choices - LQ4 L92 Heads
Long time lurker ~ First time post
I have a 01 Silverado Stepside 4X4, it will be used as a daily but my commute is not that far and occasional drag strip visits will happen. The truck is lowered 3/4. Truck has a TCI 4L80E and a Stockish stall +500rpm.
Here's what I have:
06 LQ4 with 110,xxxkms
L92 Heads form GM performance parts
Brian Tooley Springs .660 Extreme lift Springs (Titanium retainers etc.)
L92 truck intake manifold
90mm throttle body
LPE GT11 camshaft - 215/231 duration @ .050 lift - .631/.644 lift with 1.7 118.0 CL
Dynatech Long tube Headers 1.75 primaries No Cats
Efans
I have some 60lb injectors from another build but I fell they are too big for a N/A build. Might try to find some 42lb injectors..?
I have a buddy coming over this weekend to start putting this together with me, I just get slightly confused when reading every opinion on cam choice with a LQ4/L92 combo. In the new year I am planning on getting a Maggie TVS2300 for it and making some real numbers but for now I just want to have some N/A fun.
Your feedback is appreciated and I appreciate the knowledge I have gained from lurking this site for a while now.

if you are looking for injectors, the g302 ford injector is a good choice. it comes stock on the gt500's. ive made 550whp n/a in an LS2 vette with them.
i would stick with that cam if you want something you can use with the TVS. the torque of the blower would offset what you would lose from the cam.
as far as compression, im not sure what you end up with in a LQ4/L92 combo, but again, if you are adding a blower later you can live with a little less compression for now.

Thanks for the input! I would like to do a custom cam but I work in a performance shop and we sell alot of LPE products so I prefer to use what we sell. The truck should be going on the dyno in the next couple weeks. I will get a some video on the dyno and I am hoping to see around the 350whp from the truck, that's until the TVS2300 goes on.....
