Cryogenic treatment

Has anybody ever tried it and had good results? I see a lot of threads talking about it but nobody actually going and doing it. I'll be pulling all my pistons to regap the rings, and figured while they are out it might benefit to look into some cryo treatment. There is a local company that will do all rods and pistons for just over $100...hard to pass that up if its a viable option. Even if it makes the hardware just marginally stronger than it is now, I think its worth it.

From what I've read cryo treating is the real deal, and, in my experience with my brake rotors which are cryogencially treated, it's definitely good for something. My truck ate two sets of rotors (rusted) when it was under warranty, and I changed the last set with my current Praise Dyno cryo ones about 8 or 9 years ago and they're still holding up great. Not sure if the cryo treating had anything to do with their longevity, but I'm happy with it

as for cast aluminum im not sure if its even worth the money. but if your doing steel that has been welded on / or machined ( like brake rotors) you would see a difference
