deciding on heads.....
cant decide between the patriot stg 3 ls6 heads, or the PRC 2.5, 5.3 heads.
Patriot stg 3 ls6:
Combustion Chamber: 64cc
Intake Runner: 227cc
Exhaust Runner: 70cc
Intake Valve: 2.08"
Exhaust Valve: 1.60"
Max. Valve Spring Lift: 0.650"
Spring Pressure Closed: 135 lbs. @ 1.800"
Spring Pressure Open: 375 lbs. @ 1.090"
Retainer Material: Titanium
Valve Seal Material: Viton
Valve Guide Material: Manganese Bronze
Valve Job: 5-angle
Flow 320cfm @ .600" intake
235cfm @ .600"exh
I would have them milled to 59cc....cost $1245.00 from Patriot
or the PRC stg 2.5 heads:
* Brand New GM 5.3l Based Cores
* Smaller Combustion Chambers For 10.75:1 Compression
* Stainless Steel 2.02"/1.575" Valves
* PRC Double Spring Kit Complete With
Springs, Titanium Retainers, Seats, & Seals
Flow 312cfm @ .600 intake
223cfm @.600 exhaust
$1309.99 from TSP
I am leaning towards the Patriot stage 3s. Bigger valves, higher flow numbers. I think its best bang for the buck.Lemme hear some opinions!!!

OP: Give us a shout sometime and we can get you setup! There's more to the heads than just valve-size and advertised flow numbers. The PRC line-ups offers quite a few advantages in both quality of parts and machining over the Patriots and we'd be glad to show anybody who's interested!
