Default dry sump in a truck

im considering running a dry sump in my 427 lsx twin turbo. ive been chatting with katech about running the oil squirters. they are concerned that even with a high volume pump that it may not be enough with a wet sump and the stock oil pan. with running the turbos , the squirters and engine its alot of demand . so im considering a dry sump setup . im just concerned on oil pan , clearance and other room for the dry sump reservoir etc i know its not 100% necessary being my truck wont see hard cornering but will see some har launches . any advice?

You shouldn't have any clearance issues that can't be solved by all the excess room under the truck hood. Is your sump tank going on the passenger side?

I have seen dry setups in person, and the tank is usually a 1 to 1 1/2 gallons, and it needs to be mounted barely above the pump.

So if you look around in your engine compartment you should be able to find a place in back the can hold a milk jug sized container.

Hot-Rod squeezed on into a Pontiac soltice with a 427 so I see your truck being no different.
