Who offers good L92 heads/intake/custom cam package?

I am thinking to go this route since L92 heads are cheap and flow good with l92 intake. But what do I do with DBW throttle body?

How much rwhp/rwtq will I gain form L92 heads/intake/cam swap? Is 480rwhp/500rwtq possible?

Do I go for stock or ported L92 heads?

Is the New Dorman Intake Manifold worth the $300 with my current setup?

IMO, wait on swapping to the TBSS intake, save the money for the L92 intake/heads/custom cam (you're having fun already, no point in spending extra money). I would give Richard at WCCH (a sponsor to the right ->) a call about the L92 heads & he can spec a cam for them also.

Mast Motorsports heads are ETP designed L92 based & are $1300 EACH, BARE.

Thanks guys.

I got in touch with WCCH. Richard thinks I should keep TR224 for streetability specially with stock TC and just swap to L92 heads/intake. TR224 will work fine with L92 heads.

It is estimated to gain 40+ rwhp but not alot of rwtq gain with L92 heads.

My goal from L92 heads/intake swap is to solve the problem of peak hp droping after 5500. If the cam is the issue, I would prefer o do it at once and swap the cam even if I end up getting stalled TC.

Now should I keep the TR224 camshaft or swap the cam and get a TC along with the L92 heads/intake/TB.

I say just open up your exhaust and put a tvs2300 on it haha. I'd just run it as is until you start getting bored with the power. Then do what you already stated. You've got the plan just take your time a follow through with the L92 route. You just gotta decide if you want stock like drivability or rather have the stall before you decide on cam.

Oh, you might wanna start thinking bout the tranny while your at it...

Transmission is in mind. Once it will need a rebuild, I will get a TC and one of these rebuild kits:

I doubt that the cam is the reason for the hp to fall after 5k..
