Well, we have similar set-ups; T56 and a truck so maybe they got us confused
They were in the same ballpark as I was so I'm happy. We will see if we were right.
Maybe you specified on the sheet you wanted something more agressive than I did? Or maybe they were so covered up that they didnt' give a whole lot of thought to one of ours? No, honestly, I would have probably chosen something similar if I had a 4.8 still and going turbo. I would have chosen more cam to help the little motor out and given away some low end. With the 6.0 I was leaning concervative due to I was going to make plenty of power anyway so why not make it really mild mannered.

You can tell anyone you want your cam specs from EDC but like Beau told me the email he got from EDC said why tell everyone what you are running when you paid good money for it. It is true. You pay the extra for a custom spec cam shaft then blurt it out to everyone they go get comp to grind it for 300 bucks and you get the shaft cause everyone copies you. I realize he has different lobes but Im sure comp could come close enough to satisfy. IMO from what I have been reading on tech Cammotion has grown too large too quick and are shooting cams out like you jack off Mark and arent really giving the amount of thought into the cam specs they should. We will see what he says when he emails me back. I want the best I can get this time around and an off-the-shelf cam isnt going to work for me.

I have data on over 20 of Ed's priority lobes myself.... Just regular old hydraulic rollers between 210-230.

Maybe he doesn't have many more tho and he just threw his entire archive at me.

I have the Yank ss3600. As far as brake stalling it, I really dont know yet. The last time I was at the track, I ran the 12.8 with a 1.73 60' brake stalling it at 2000 rpm. I want to go more, but Ive had traction problems at the track in the past, and I was sure I would that night. As luck would have it, I only got one run, and it dead hooked. Maybe It will hook up like that next time so I can play around and see what it likes best.

Now that's a LOT of cams!

I'm sure Ed knows what he is doing. I have no reason to doubt the man....You all know that I have to ride Cody's *** any chance I get

An off the shelf cam is the perfect cam if it is what you want and need. Custom ground cams aren't necessarily better. People, in most cases like to have that warm and fuzzy, "mine is special" feeling. The way I look at it I spec'd my own cam so there! I have the biggest head of them all!

My last cam was a custom from Cam Motion. I think both companies in the discussion know what they are doing. Toss up im my book. Go with the least cost.

By the way you guys are having way to much fun poking each other in the thread. LMAO.
