"Engine Kit" rings and bearings?
2004 5.3
Which kit do you prefer for std bore and bearings as well?
I'm in the process and I'm not sure which kit to go with,so many on eBay to choose from
Thanks

Just get whatever your budget can allow. As for the bearings and what not I kinda like the Clevite stuff. There are a lot of companies that make the bearings and such so I wouldn't get to caught up on it.

As for the standard, make sure you don't need oversized bearings. If you spun a bearing, the rod or crank will need to be turned. This takes away material and thus, needing a oversized bearing. The same goes for the piston rings, you only need the oversized rings if you had to bore and use an oversized piston. I usually use clevite as stated previously. I was gonna use Kings bearings because they are really cheap for my recent budget build. Found a good deal on the clevites' and used them instead. The factory bearings are extremely expensive. I would find whatever you can afford.
