Default engine slip?? or fail?

Hey guys quick question so I'm curious I have a couple mods in my silverado hadn't really stepped on it in a while lol...I floored from 30 and when I got gear at around 6500 rpm I felt like the belt slipped which is normal but it felt like the pause between gears was too long. Also I hear a sound similar to Turbo at gear change?? Any ideas what's up

Runs fine just feel like I'm slowing down on gear change but not sure? Also my check engine has been comin since last retune but nothing wrong? Could mass airflow sensor be a issue....pole went thru my headlight and hit mass airflow sensor and knocked it loose put it back on worked fine but idk?

I would get the codes pulled to see what the light is for, that will probably give you a big hint.

Almost sounds like you may be hitting the peak RPM limit for the throttle body. (ETC) Not the fuel cutoff, the throttle cutoff. When this happens it closes your throttle body so the truck will fall off then shift. If this is it then the ETC cutoff just needs raised.

this reminds me of when I did sonnax servos with no tuning. You would feel it shift firm, then buck you forward.... it was torque management.

Yea, I had an issue with the TB closing to 50% at 6600 when I was commanding the shift at 6800.
But get your check engine light figured out first.
