Default Fabricated valve covers?

Found a good deal on some ls style Fabricated valve covers on CL brand new for like 80$. I was thinking about putting them on my lq4 in my truck. But the coils would have to be re located, I know alot of people do it on there cars but havnt found any on a truck(nbs) Does anyone have ideals and would this be pratical for a truck thats driven daily alot?

By the fire wall on the passenger side and by the radiator support driver side. Hide the coils the best you can so they dont stand out.

I have also seen people who use those valve covers have clearance issues along the top edge of the rockers where the valve cover meets the head. Even with stock rockers.

Yes, they're cheap, but just be aware that there is a reason for that. Fitment seems to be hit or miss....

I have already used up every inch of space under my hood, so I mounted mine under the engine mount brackets. May not have been able to do so if I had not removed the front axle. These are the only pics I could find....it is the drivers side. Not really a daily driver anymore, but I have driven it in light rain like this and pressure washed the underside with no issues firing it up afterward.

I had some cheaper Summit fabbed covers before these GMPP covers. They leaked on my ETP heads, but not as bad as the GMPP. So far, the best fit has been the fabbed covers from Nasty Performance.

They have never been used, the guy had them on l92 heads but they were too tall for his motor swap in a 66 Chevy. I went ahead and bought them anyways. I'll post up pics tomorrow. I probably won't put them on till I do my cam this winter!
