finally got my free cam installed
so i got the cam in last weekend. about a 2.5 hour job. i'm working on the tune now. its not a huge cam but it is all out of wack in the tune. it died a few times on the ls6 cam tune. light light throttle it was rich. evey where else it was lean lean. half throttle feel strong and the turbo seems to come on faster than befroe with the ls6 cam. i only got one wot run and it was very short but it was harsh. its been raining i hit it at 40-50 in the rain and it was all over the place. which for my tahoe is saying something cause with my weight over the rear and good tires it doesn't break loose at that speed. this weekend goes back in the AWD and the trutrac!!! woot!
note...with STOCK tires and awd it would spin all four in the rain at a 40 punch.

infact i was going to make a thread on that. i took the rear end apart friday to install the trutrac. i didn't feel like doing it but something told me to do it anyway. sure enough there were big huge chunks in the rear. i broke the g80. not sure how long its been broke. after that Saturday i finished up the front end build. i had to weld the adjuster nut cause the little tab thing was wore out. then i finished up the front cv rebuilds and got them installed. i need a front output shaft seal for the t-case before i can build it up and install it. i'm taking the chain from the autotrac along with some other (better in shape) parts for the 149 case. so next weekend the t-case itself should go in and I'll be pushing all four again. woo hoo can't wait. I'll be able to drive on the sunny Florida beaches with no problems and hook up rain or not!
