Would the stock 5.3 head net you a higher cr. But then again ls6 heads flow better. I was just want to know. I'm still rocking the stock heads with with my turbo set-up.

well the ls6 heads flow better but then they were p&p'd so they flow an *** ton better. the truck felt better all the way around. off boost on boost but i think it was due to the better flow and the fact i didn't loose a ton of compression vise using ls1 heads or 317's

when i build a motor for this thing i want the motor mid to high 9's somewhere from 9.5-10.1. then boost it. good tune and fuel should make tons of torque. but i don't plane to have the money for that for a while.

i gotta say with this cam swap my numbers in my ve have changed big time. compared to going from stock to the ls6 cam. all the way from 40kpa and up. i been cruising around with 15.5 and higher afr. wot is almost spot on. i was already rich like 10.5:1 then i just blindly added 4% just to be safe. after a log i found i was 11.8 so i added another 2% iirc and now its a good 11.5 run.

I like specs on that cam, seems good for your set up...I suppose it could use a little more exhaust duration but I'm sure that it will still be a screamer as it it...it was before

well it was suppose to be a 214/218 but the lsl lobes only go down to a 215 so i went with that. i need to see how far she wants to spin now. i haven't bumped the shift points yet.
