On the surface it basically looks like the GM Hot Cam 219/228 .525/.525 112, which is good for 480hp/474ft lbs at the flywheel in their LS3 crate motor. So overall it may not be too bad, but it does still make you wonder why someone would have a cam custom ground to those spec's.

Yep, looks like a Hot Cam minus .001 duration on the intake side...I bet that it'll be fairly decent in a 6.0 and you can use the inexpensive LS6 springs. It won't put down the horsepower numbers that a cam with similar specs and more lift would have, but you'll know it's in there. Curious to know how challenging the tuning will be...I've heard that the Hot Cam is tough to tune due to it's "lazy" lobes.

*EDIT* Have you decided on a converter yet? Something in the 2800-3000 neighborhood should work well with that cam

Are you saying that I am going to have problems with the cam? I told Kyle what I was looking for and he had the cam made. I am novice when it comes to internals of an engine. I can fix stuff that breaks on my truck and wifes ML350 and thats about it.

Not sure on the name brand of the converter but its a 2800. He is ordered it today. I will post up when I get that information. Kyle is re-flashing the ecu, removing the vvt and drive tuning it. He has done a few ly6 swaps and has the tune pretty much for the same specs already.
