little update....as all of u know about the BS i have gone through with the iron ls1 I bought, i said screw it and jumped back on the aluminum ls1 i had. i had bought it back in march, it needed new cam bearings b/c they were not installed correctly, and one was too far back blocking the oil passage. at the time i didn't know the whole rotating assembly had to come out to do that. Anyhow, tore it down, had new Durabond cam bearings installed. I then went to Polydyn, there are here locally in Houston, and bought a set of clevite77 H series main and rod bearings with the Polydyn coating on them. Installed the crank, had a buddy( montecarloss) install the rods and pistons and arp rod bolts for me. And tonite i just ordered a set of arp head bolts, head gaskets, melling 10295 oil pump, and my Cam. Im going with the TSP torquer v2---232/234 595/598 112. should run good. Im putting my 706s on it for now, that should be right around 10.9 cr with those heads. im shooting for memorial wknd to do the swap!!

Nice to see your moving on i guess. Will rebuilding it affect when you take him to court at all?
Should be a nice setup when done.

well, been spending some money on my new motor. My order came in with my cam, ARP head bolts, melling oil pump, and head gaskets. Went to dealership today and picked up new lifter trays and cam retainer plate. Bought a new set of ls7 lifters and new ls2 HD timing chain from a buddy, and I am borrowing a pr length checker from a buddy to check pr length so i get the preload correct on my lifters. gonna stick with my 706s for now. It will put my CR at about 10.9.
