Default Gt2-3

Is anyone running a lingenfelter GT2-3 as an N/A application? My buddy has a all stock 99 2wd and just wants a little more but still a great DD. Does this cam have a good lope sound at idle? The truck has magnaflow and gutted cats with cold air.

It a little bigger than an LS6 cam. Stock idle, but really won't help power wise until you get above 3k RPM.

....now in a blower application it's a whole other animal

You left out the fact that you're running a TVS for the OP. Cmon Bill.

Doesn't matter if I am or not, the 118.5 lobe separation angle provides a nice even idle-no lope!

I just got the info from a guy at lingenfelter. I forgot to mention the truck only has a 4.8. What cam size would get some good low end torque? Texas-speed suggested 212/218 on a 114. I had a 214/220 on 111.5 in my 5.3 05 4X4 but it already had a 2600 stall and was clammed to be ok with a stock converter.

You want good low end torque, check out the cam in my sig. The 212/218 would be good also, but would be better with a 2600-3k converter. Check out BlackGMC, he's runnin a 4.8 and has a 214/2??...I'm pretty sure that he has a converter though...
